Broker/Associate Hello! I’m a native of Florida (Miami Beach) born and raised. I spent a few years in NY – Rochester. In Rochester, I married my wonderful husband Randy (18 years now), graduated from University of Buffalo in Engineering Science, and had two amazing boys, Brandon (15) and Masen (12). I can’t forget my awesome dog Lady …she’s a chocolate lab! I moved back to Florida in 2003 from NY. After my visit on the island, I wondered why I ever left! Anna Maria Island and the Bradenton Area was the old Florida of my childhood. A great place to live, raise a family and relax. I started selling real estate in 2003 just as a means to meet people and get to know the area. With my background in Engineering and education it was really only a hobby. Once I started selling Island properties …I was hooked! It was/is not a job but a lifestyle! I truly love what I do and the people I meet and I am so blessed to be able to do this! I love anything to do with the fresh air and outdoors; from running at Robinson’s Preserve, Paddle Boarding- Kayaking or Boating on the many waterways in Bradenton, or just soaking in the sun on the beaches of Anna Maria Island – I love to be outside! I am a full time realtor that knows the local market. As a top-producing realtor in the area, I can help you save valuable time and money by listening to your needs/wants and supplying the best possible choices based on what is available. I will guide you through the contract period, advising you of deadlines and any issues to insure your interests are protected. I will make the process of selling or buying enjoyable …yes enjoyable and give you sold results. |

Realtor I grew-up in rural Southern NJ 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia on a truck farm. I am number six out of thirteen children. Patience is a virtue growing up with this large hard working farm family! I had a few different career moves over the years including computer graphics working for a publishing company, and working as mortgage closer with a Michigan bank and mortgage company. I have lived in three different states: born and raised in NJ, moved to St. Pete FL in 1979, met my husband Jesse on the Rod and Reel Pier at the North End of the Island in 1993 and married him six months later. I moved to Michigan in 1994 to be with my husband William (Jesse) Correll and could not wait to be back in Florida returning in 1996. In 1999, I began my career in Real Estate at Island Real Estate. A phrase that has made my trade mark is “The Big Picture it’s all about the Real Estate” working or playing this beautiful Anna Maria Island is a big tropical picture and no matter where you are from it will leave a lasting impression. Anna Maria Island has been a dream come true for me. When it comes to the quality of costal living, Anna Maria Island, its people, and its beaches are unforgettable. |
Realtor “Invest in a Life Style…Invest in Anna Maria Island” When Tom heard that phase, it didn’t take him long to convenience his wife that this was the greatest undiscovered piece of paradise to live and raise a family. That’s when Tom and his wife, Peggy, along with their son, Chris, moved to Anna Maria Island in 1987 from Michigan. Tom’s parents had owned a home in Bradenton since the mid-fifties and he had vacation there many times with the area becoming a second home to him. Spending 17 years in the lending banking industry, Tom had been a Vice-President of Michigan National Bank. Always interested in the real estate market, Tom decided to give real estate sales a try and enjoyed it immensely. In 1990, Tom met Frank Davis while working at Neal & Neal REALTORS. They worked well together and when Frank started Island Real Estate of Anna Maria Island, Inc. in 1993, Tom soon followed. Tom has been active locally serving as a past Director and Treasurer of the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce. He has been a member of the chamber for 15 years and has served as a member of many committees. Currently, Tom serves as a Director with the Manatee Board of REALTORS and as been a past Vice Chairman of the Grievance Committee and a member of the Professional Standards Committee. Tom enjoys playing golf and is a member of Key Royale Golf Club. When time permits, boating and travel are high on his list of priories. So, when you are ready to “Invest in a life style… Invest in Anna Maria Island”, call Tom for all of your real estate needs and he will make your decision and move easy! |
Realtor Since moving to the Gulf Coast of Florida in 1976, I have searched and found, many quiet, white, sandy beaches far away from the crowds. I have sailed to, and lived in, the Caribbean for 6 of those years ~ which is probably where I developed my interest in finding the calmest, out-of-the-way beaches, surrounded by turquoise waters. Anna Maria Island is the perfect place to set my chair in the water. I now have a hard time settling for anything less… This is what has brought me to Anna Maria Island, a place that is beautiful and calm, surrounded by clear blue water. I have found my perfect job here as a Real Estate Agent for Island Real Estate. Because I appreciate the beauty of Anna Maria Island, it is easy for me to share it with others. Most people that visit and think about buying a home here can feel how special it is too… If you want to know more about buying property in our special place of Anna Maria Island, just drop me a line or give me a call. I will be happy to help you find your place in the sun too… |
Realtor Real Estate has been the love of my life. I began my Real Estate career in Rochester, Michigan in 1978. Upon moving to the West Coast of Florida in 1981, I was privileged to work for Pat Neal and Associates on Anna Maria, Longboat Key and then what was the new development of Perico Bay Club. I worked as an Associate in the “New Sales” office which is when I purchased my villa at Perico Bay Club. The many years I have spent living and selling Perico Bay has given me the knowledge to be considered an expert who specializes in Perico Bay Club. I have been blessed and privileged to work with so many owners throughout the years, many of them 3 or 4 times. I have now partnered with Kathleen White who is a top producer in my office at Island Real Estate of Anna Maria Island, where I have been a sales associate for 17 years. We are happy to continue to help you with buying or selling your property at Perico Bay Club and nearby. Please feel free to call me anytime for anything, I am happy to help. |

Sales Associate A native of Michigan, Adele grew up in Cadillac, a small town in the northern lower peninsula. A graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in education, Adele taught school for many years, most recently in the Gifted & Talented Program in a tribal charter school in Saulte Ste. Marie. Visitors from the area will notice the “I Yoosta Be a Yooper” bumper sticker her husband sports on the family truck! Adele moved to Sarasota with her husband, Crit, and their daughter, Greta, in 2004, and to Anna Maria in 2005. Her real estate career began with her move south. Our resident expert in distressed properties, Adele was just named (for the second time!) a 5-Star Agent by Sarasota Magazine, a distinction awarded based on customer satisfaction. In spite of her many professional accomplishments, Adele prefers to be defined by her children. Her daughter, Abbie, is an equine veterinarian currently living in Kentucky with her husband. Dylan, Adele’s married son, is attending law school in Michigan. Sales Associate Josh was educated at a private prep school outside Cleveland, Ohio, and then moved to Colorado to attend Regis College in Denver, where he graduated with a BA in Business and Economics. Our office athlete, Josh lived the Colorado dream by working as part of the Vail Ski Patrol during the season, and teaching tennis at local resorts when the snow had melted. At the same time, he received his Real Estate Broker’s license in Colorado, and sold resort real estate when he wasn’t on the slopes or tennis courts. After the birth of two of their three children, Josh and his wife, Beth, moved to Fripp Island, South Carolina, where Josh continued to sell real estate for the next four years. From there, Beth’s family persuaded them to make the move to Anna Maria, which they did in 2004. After working with the New Homes Division of Michael Saunders Real Estate in Sarasota, Josh joined the Betsy Hills team in 2007, and has been here ever since. Still an avid athlete, he and Beth have encouraged the same in their children, finding the lifestyle here perfect for both family and fun! |
Sales Associate Susanne was born in a little fairy tale village in the northern part of Germany, not far from Lubeck and the Baltic Sea. After completing two years of schooling in child psychology, she met a handsome young man vacationing from the United States, and she never looked back! After a whirlwind romance they were married and moved to Sarasota, where her new in-laws had their home. Adjusting to life in the United States was helped by the fact that Mike and his parents spoke fluent German. Susanne had studied English in school, but it still took a long time before she felt really comfortable conversing in her second language. Home with a new baby, she’d watch soap operas in the afternoons and write down all the words she heard the actors using. Later, she spent lots of time playing Scrabble with her next door neighbor, who had daughters the same age as Susanne’s son. Once their son was older, Susanne decided to pursue a career in real estate, and joined Betsy Hills in 1987. She and Betsy have worked together on and off for twenty-five years! At times she’s taken a hiatus from real estate help Mike with their family business exporting vehicles to Europe. We’re thankful he’s willing to share his fabulous wife with our office! |
Broker Associate Betsy grew up in the Chestnut Hill area of Philadelphia in a large and loving family comprised of five sisters and three brothers! She attended the Springside School, and then moved to New York to attend Briarcliff College, where she graduated with a BA in art history. After college she returned to Philadelphia and taught high school art for four years. It was during a school vacation that she met her husband, Bob. In a later trip to Florida to visit her mother-in-law, she and Bob fell in love with Anna Maria, and moved here in 1976 to begin a new life in the island paradise. With the move came a new career, and Betsy quickly discovered she loved the business of real estate. After lots of hard work and study, she opened Betsy Hills Real Estate in 1983, and has been here in the historic cottage on Pine Avenue ever since. One of her greatest joys is to have helped several generations of the same family purchase their own place in the sun! Happily, Betsy continues to welcome her large family to the island for frequent visits, some of whom have made their homes here as well. But even when members of the family are spread out across the globe, Betsy has a knack for turning clients into friends. Her warmth and generosity make newcomers to the island feel like they’ve found a true home with the Betsy Hills family! |
